JILT integrates management of translation, terminology, and memory workflow. High quality and effective with respect to cost and fast translation service is carried out.
Timely service is ensured. Data mining solutions and web-based knowledge is used to manage the whole process. Hence the result is quick service.
Upon receiving of receipt of project translation, the project is assigned. After accessing it with respect to the subject matter, formatting requirements and turnaround time. The work is initiated from the relevant staff with respect to particular field, subject matter and data processing format.
The extraction of terminology is done firstly, and terms within it are translated. This glossary is then imported in a management tool to promote access to terminological resources and maintenance of the database.
Translation memory tools,TRADOS,SDLX etc can be employed. Thus productivity is enhanced by automating terminology search, using again of the translated prior documents.
At the end of these phases, QA checks are taken from random samples. The quality-related issues are detected in the translation process quickly.
Two sub- phases are involved : Revising and editing. With commencement of translation, the initial draft is proof read. Then it is re read by other translator responsible for it for overall check in terms of quality, consistency and cross-consistency. Along with it implementation of all modes, check lists and translation-specific client instructions are done.
Quality Assurance check is in this part. Since this being of very significance, special emphasis is laid on it.This being an integral part of our cycle.
QA checks in linguistics: Style guides are ensured of being followed preferences in terminology are implemented and consistency maintained.
QA technical checks : Technical QA checks: The feedback from the client part is taken into account and their particular concerns for the translated material. Then visual presentation too is taken care of as regards to fonts, text styles and so on.HTMQA and RTFQA are standard QA tools
